Good morning, my friends!

Notes will be brief this morning, just to let you know about this busy, busy Sabbath & Sunday, and the Nyakondo passing.

Stephen Ministries will meet tomorrow morning at 8:30 for Peer Supervision and Continuing Education. Remember, if you have an interest or any questions regarding Stephen Ministries, there is a secure box at the Information Window. You can drop a note in and someone will respond promptly to your inquiry. Family Praise & Worship, 9:30-9:45 in Room 8-come visit, check it out! We are pleased to co-host the 2nd Annual Public Affairs & Religious Liberty Weekend Summit and Workshops event beginning tomorrow at Camelback and finishing up Sunday at the Conference Office. The day’s activities: Sabbath School 9:30 - 10:35 Attorney, Alan Reinach, “Risk, Responsibility and Reward.” We will have a regular worship service with a guest speaker, Dr. Jaime Kowlessar, Senior Pastor, City Temple SDA Church, Dallas, Texas. The Arizona Conference is graciously providing lunch for those who will be staying for the afternoon program, a Panel Discussion - R U Ready Share & Talk: Millennials - We Dare U2 Care! Adults - Will U Dare 2 Care? This will take place beginning at 3:00pm in the sanctuary. Tomorrow night, Calvin Taylor, Gospel Music recording artist, who is featured weekly on 3ABN, will present a piano concert, at 6:30pm, at the Paradise Valley SDA Church. This is a musical program you and your family will not want to miss!

Sunday, March 11: Pathfinder Fair - 9:00am - Monte Vista SDA Church - 2018 Women’s Mini-Retreat - Living Life at 37,000 Feet - NEW LOCATION: DESERT COVE SDA CHURCH - 9am-4pm - Men’s Prayer Breakfast - 9:00am - Glendale SDA Church - Public Affairs & Religious Liberty Weekend Summit - Know Your Rights! Workshops - 9:30am - 2:00pm - AZ Conference Office - Arizona Conference Phoenix Area Town Hall Meeting to update and receive input from Constituents regarding Scottsdale Property Development - 2:00pm - Paradise Valley SDA Church.

One last item. It was announced at church last Sabbath, but for those who were not in attendance, Charles Nyakondo’s daughter, Faith Moraa Nyakondo, 33, passed to her rest last Sabbath morning at University of Minnesota Medical Center. A Celebration of Her Life will be Sunday, March 11, 4:00pm, at the Minnetonka SDA Church, Minnetonka, Minnesota, with interment on Monday, March 12, 12:00pm, Mound Cemetery of Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. The family representative has communicated the following: "Due to time limit, those who can, please continue making your donations at Wells Fargo, account # 5839012159, in the name of Benjamin Omare, or cashapp at $bomare.” The church is no longer allowed to act as intermediary for funeral donations, so if you want to contribute, please follow one of the requested methods.
