February 15, 2018
Good evening, friends!
As we close in on the end of another week, isn’t it nice to think about all the special blessings we receive, each and every one of us, each and every day; blessings designed by a loving and gracious God, specific to each one. Thank you, God, for the blessings you sent my way this week; may my words, my actions, even my very thoughts, reflect the gratitude in my heart for your merciful grace showered upon me. Amen
If you haven’t done so yet, this coming Sabbath (2-17) morning, drop in on Family Praise & Worship, 9:30 - 9:45am in Room 8 - Songs, testimonies, scripture, prayer, and more, for the kids and whole family. And, Sabbath Schools for all other age groups, from newborn to the older folks, taking place in several locations around the facility. A message from our Stained Glass Window committee: A huge THANK YOU to all who have contributed to our STAINED GLASS WINDOWS project. We are off to a good start and now that the yearend festivities are over, it is time we once again bring this to your attention. Please make it a matter of prayer along with continuing to contribute to this project. We are now a work in progress, so we must continue raising funds to have the balance available when the windows are complete. Again, thank you for your dedication in so many ways to the Camelback Church.
A message from Gwen Dossey, our dear Camelback member who knits the caps for our Backpacks for Christ ministry. Gwen is experiencing some health issues that are seriously interfering with her ability to knit. She is hoping that others of you out there will be able to pick up the slack until such time as she heals and is able to resume. I think we all know how much this ministry means to Gwen, so please, all who are able, please give Gwen a call (602.404.9180) and let her know you can help.
We have made available to all a place to pray, and to be prayed with, in the Parents Room. Open during SS and after the worship service, come and make your requests known to God, write your requests and place them on the Prayer Board and also your Praises, glorifying God.
See you Sabbath!
Love, Cherie O
