Good morning, Camelback members & friends!

Tomorrow, Sabbath, August 4: Family Praise & Worship gathers from 9:30 - 9:45, in Room 8 of the Sabbath School wing, followed by Sabbath Schools for all age groups, from newborn to us older folks, taking place in several locations around the facility. They are all listed on the inside cover of your bulletin when you arrive Sabbath morning. For the worship service, Praise First will lead us in Praise, and Senior Pastor John Stanton will bring us the morning message, entitled, “THE DISCIPLE-MAKING CHURCH.” The service will be followed by guest luncheon in the Rotunda, and as always EVERYONE is welcome, you just need to BRING FOOD. It's always helpful to our great volunteers, if a few who are attending could stay afterward and assist with clean-up. Heritage in FREE Concert - 6:30pm in the Sanctuary. This is the kind of concert to bring your family, neighbors and friends. Everyone loves Heritage!

Sunday morning, August 5, the Camelback SDA Women’s Breakfast Club will gather at the home of Diane Bond, 9:30. I’m sure they are always on the lookout for new members! Later in the day, at 4:00pm, please come out to the Rotunda for a Baby Shower for Ken & Ashley Brignoni (and by they way, IT’S A BOY!:

The Divorce Care, Grief Share, Caring for the Emotionally Damaged Heart and Communication Seminar are all available again. The group has resumed meeting on Tuesday nights, at 7:00pm in Classroom 5 of the Sabbath School wing. Please text the facilitator, Pastor Duane Andersen, if you are interested in more information. His # is 480.276.1689.

We continue to host two Alcoholic Anonymous meetings per week in the Rotunda; Wednesday & Friday afternoons, Noon - 1:00pm.

The Men’s Small Group Study is meeting again. They get together on Wednesday at 7:00pm in Room 10.

Next Sabbath, August 11, Pastor Mark Sulger will bring us the morning message. Sweet Fellowship will sing during the service. Sabbath afternoon, 2:30 - 6:30pm, the Arizona Conference is sponsoring Personal Evangelism Training at Camp Yavapines in Prescott. The 11th will be Part 1 and Sabbath, August 18, same hours, Part 2.

Sunday, August 12, Brenda Seidel will host her monthly Cardmaking Group, 10am - Noon, at her home.

And don’t forget our annual Christmas in July benefit. This year, as Megan Loney explained from the pulpit a few weeks ago, we’re doing things a little differently. We are collecting socks and underwear, all ages and all sizes, for the St. Vincent de Paul homeless and children’s programs. There are collection bins in the foyer, and TOMORROW is the last collection day. St. Vincent will be coming Monday (8-6) to pick them up. I just checked and both of them are only half full. Come on, friends, let’s come through again, like Camelback always does!

The Food Pantry continues to be REALLY busy. Please bring what you can to help this vital ministry!

Have a great rest of the day and see you tomorrow!

Love, Cherie O
