Potluck Dinner where YOU bring the food. 7:00 - 9:00pm Thunderbird Adventist Academy Pool Next Sabbath: Pastor White continues our summer series, stories from the great story-teller, with the parable of the lost/prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32) and the compassionate Father; probably one of Jesus’ most widely known stories. Don’t miss a new look at this dynamic parable. We are invited to plan our offering giving by setting aside our contributions in advance. In keeping with that principle, the offering next Sabbath, September 4, is for Camelback Church Ministries. Download the July program guide and help us reach souls for Christ by donating online at www.mygoodnewstv.com “Praying In The Sabbath" is a live, call-in program hosted by our local pastors around the valley. PLASTIC BAGS NEEDED Please bring your excess plastic grocery bags to the church-destination Community Service Center. A GENTLE REMINDER If you have borrowed books, CD’s, or DVD’s from any of the church’s lending libraries, and are through with them, please put their little church feet on and send them home. The mission of SOJOURNER CENTER is to overcome the impact of domestic violence, one life at a time. One resident states, “It took me a great deal of time to overcome some of the things that happened to me. I left with just a little bit of faith and hope. Now, I can say I don't live in fear anymore. I feel like a new person. SOJOURNER CENTER gave me that chance —the chance to begin again.” October, 2010 the new Donation and Education Center will be opening.
