Sabbath School

Adult Sabbath School Classes are located all over the church campus and occur from 9:30 a.m. to 10:35 a.m. on Sabbath morning. Small groups gather for the common purpose of a clearer understanding of the Gospel. The diversity of Bible based study small groups range from traditional classroom style instruction to circle seated facilitated dialogue. If you have any questions about the Bible: salvation, faith, the law, life or even death they can be asked here. We all seek God's grace and together we pursue His mercy. (Online Quarterly available.)

Pastor's Class - Room 2A
We are also beginning a seven week Bible-Marking Class.  The class begins at 9:40.  (come at or before 9:30)  It will be for new members, inquirers, and members who have been attending the class previously held in 2A.  A new Bible will be provided for our new members and all seekers, along with special marking pencils and a topical outline.  This Sabbath we will be exploring the subject of SALVATION and chain-referencing our Bibles.  This is an exciting way to study and to make ones Bible a practical study guide.  In subsequent weeks we will study: The Second Coming, the Sabbath, the Sleep of Death, Spiritual Gifts (service) etc.  This is an open class which is especially intended for new members, seekers, and those interfacing with new members; and I will be the primary teacher. In the Fall Dianne and I will combine our classes.  Theme will be Marriage.

Skip Farr -Sanctuary Overflow Section
Located in the pew seating of the overflow section in the Church Sanctuary, this Bible based class is for  adults of all ages. The Church Adult Quarterly is used as the outline. Our format is to consider and discuss  the lesson issues as they relate to the Christian's every-day walk with God. True and false questions are  presented to outline the lesson. The Bible is our guide. Our objective is to grow in grace, discovering God's  will for us, so we can be of more service to Him. We believe God wants to emulate His character in us  through His power and the Holy Spirit. We believe God's objective is for us to live with Him through out  eternity. His sacrificial death on the cross is our motivation to serve Him, relying upon His grace for salvation.

Connections Class - Room 8
Located in the Pathfinder Room (room 8). Where fellowship is experienced in a safe environment of acceptance, understanding and a mutual recognition that we are all children of God. Diversity, acceptance, understanding, knowledge, insight and a deep desire for salvation are routinely experienced in this setting.

A short period of social interaction begins our gathering combined with the opportunity to share your praises and prayer requests with the group. Our study is Bible based. We are currently doing a chronological parrallel study of the 4 gospels. Facilitators launch the discussions and maintain order by acknowledging in turn those who want to contribute their perspective to the discussion. Staying connected through the week in part happens through the sharing by email of those reports along with updates on activities and individual needs.

Activities have not been a focus of this group. However, camping trips have been organized and other social outings sometimes take place as this group continues to grow in its fellowship experience.
